Managing / Sr. Managing Engineer (Solid Waste)
Duties
- Comprehensive master planning, facility design and permitting
- Congstruction management and inspection
- Operations support for solid waste management
- Preparation of project manuals and technical specifications
- Design reports, design drawing guidance and oversight reviews
- Development of opinions of probable construction costs
- Preparation of engineering feasibility studies
- Evaluation and development of project plans
- Site layout and grading, on-site roadways, erosion and sediment control (ESC), environmental site design (ESD), and stormwater management systems
- Ability to develop, coordinate, interpret and/or prepare environmental sampling, monitoring, laboratory analyses, and reports for groundwater, surface water, stormwater, and soils
- Preparation of proposals including detailed scopes of work, cost estimates, and presentations
- Business development and marketing with existing and new clientele
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in the consulting industry a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in MD or the ability to obtain reciprocity is desired
- Experience with the design and layout of site plans, grading plans, pipelines, stormwater management systems and other related civil/site work is a plus
- Willingness to travel locally to field sites work for construction management/inspection
- Program management, facility operations, contract administration, and technical business writing experience is a plus
Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $120,000 - $140,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.

Schedule
The position is full-time and located in either of our Maryland offices (Annapolis or Reisterstown).
