Duties
- CT DEEP Solid Waste Permitting & Compliance services
- stormwater compliance
- miscellaneous discharge compliance
- local permitting and compliance
- municipal stormwater systems permit compliance
Technical Duties
- Preparation of engineering design reports
- feasibility studies
- environmental studies
- solid waste management plans
Specific Assignments
- Developing site layout and grading plans
- stormwater conveyance and storage facilities
- erosion control design
- site utility design
- on-site roadways
- ancillary buildings and structures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- 8-15 years of experience in the consulting industry a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in CT or the ability to obtain reciprocity is desired
- Experience with the design and layout of site plans, grading plans, pipelines, storm water systems and other related civil/site work is a plus
- Construction observation and contract administration experience and a willingness to work on seasonal field assignments is a plus
Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
