Project Manager / Sr. Project Manager (Solid Waste)

Duties

• CT DEEP Solid Waste Permitting & Compliance services
• stormwater compliance
• miscellaneous discharge compliance
• local permitting and compliance
• municipal stormwater systems permit compliance

Technical Duties

• Preparation of engineering design reports
• feasibility studies
• environmental studies
• solid waste management plans

Specific Assignments

• Developing site layout and grading plans
• stormwater conveyance and storage facilities
• erosion control design
• site utility design
• on-site roadways
• ancillary buildings and structures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
• 8-15 years of experience in the consulting industry a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in CT or the ability to obtain reciprocity is desired
• Experience with the design and layout of site plans, grading plans, pipelines, storm water systems and other related civil/site work is a plus
• Construction observation and contract administration experience and a willingness to work on seasonal field assignments is a plus

Pay

Estimated Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
