Managing/Sr. Managing Engineer (Water/Wastewater)
Responsibilities
- Management and oversight of utility projects
- Review of site development projects on behalf of clients as the municipal designated engineer
- Staff leadership and mentoring
- Active representation at municipal meetings
- Participation in marketing activities
- Preparation of technical and cost proposals
- Attendance at proposal presentations and interviews
- Demonstrable business development capabilities
Requirements
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- A current Connecticut PE license, or the ability to obtain one
- 10-15+ years of relevant engineering experience, including supervisory, project management, and client communication experience
- A thorough understanding of special districts; design and construction of water treatment, pumping, storage and distribution systems and/or wastewater treatment, pumping and collection systems; and associated funding programs
Pay
Estimated Pay Range: $100,000 - $155,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
