Requirements
- Active California CPA license in good standing.
- Experience with reviews and compilations.
- Strong corporate and partnership tax expertise.
- Experience reviewing and signing staff-prepared returns.
- Prior CPA firm management or senior leadership experience.
Preferred Background
- Partner, principal, senior manager, or practice-leadership experience.
- Existing Los Angeles professional presence.
- Familiarity with UltraTax or Thomson Reuters systems.
- Interest in equity participation, profit sharing, or a long-term operating partner role.
Compensation & Equity
Compensation will include a base salary of $150,000-$250,000, performance bonus potential tied to client retention, profitability, and operational milestones, and potential equity or long-term incentive participation. Exact economics will depend on experience, licensure, operational capability, any capital contribution, and agreed role scope.
