Managing Partner
About the role
Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Managing Partner (General Manager) to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and ensure that Legendary Food and Legendary Service are consistently delivered.
Responsibilities
- Enforce compliance with all employment policies
- Direct work of management team, set schedules, assign responsibilities
- Manage performance of management team through directionals, evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Hire management and hourly employees
- Oversee food, labor, and liquor costs
- Ensure compliance with liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
- Control food and labor costs, maintain inventory and budgets
- Verify audit, ESF, daily Taste & Temp, and training standards
- Maintain cleanliness and security of the restaurant
- Manage incentive programs for staff
- Develop and train key employees
- Understand and practice safe food handling procedures
- Liaise with vendors and support centers
- Lead the restaurant culture and promote core values
- Act as primary liaison with store vendors and support center contacts
- Support community involvement and annual holiday bonuses
Requirements
- 2+ years or more as a GM, MP, or Multi-Unit manager in a full-service concept
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- The ability to problem solve and manage stress in a high-volume environment
