Managing Mechanical Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Managing Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team in our Mechanical Department. We offer full service in-house architecture/engineering design capabilities and typically work on a diverse array of projects including Higher Education, Municipal Facilities, Industrial, Design-build, Aviation and Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Working on all phases of projects such as client relationships, design, specifications, project team coordination, construction documents, code analysis and consultant interaction.
Requirements
- 10+ years of related mechanical/HVAC design and project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Professional licensure PE is preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of design and construction documents.
- Proficiency in CADD & REVIT.
- Knowledge of building codes.
- Ability to succeed in small and large multi-disciplinary team environments.
- Ability to set deadlines, assign resources, monitor/summarize project progress.
- Good graphic, communications (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to lead small and large project teams and multiple projects from concept to construction.
- Higher Education and Healthcare experience.
- Experience working with both private and public clients.
Qualifications
Estimated Compensation Range And Benefits: $100,000 - $150,000/year* Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
