Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering teams to build a high-performing and engaged group.
- Oversee resource management, ensuring that projects are fashioned appropriately to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and one-on-ones, providing constructive feedback and performance assessments.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and budgets in alignment with organizational strategy.
- Cook up with cross-functional teams—such as product management, quality assurance, and operations—to ensure project coherence.
- Monitor project milestones, track deliverables, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
- Review and approve technical designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Act as the principal subject matter expert, guiding the team on complex technical challenges and troubleshooting emerging issues.
- Evaluate and integrate innovative technologies, processes, or tools that enhance productivity and quality.
- Act as a key liaison between the engineering sections and executive leadership, translating technical requirements into actionable business strategies.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and risk assessments to both internal and external personnel.
- Ensure transparent communication across teams, fostering an environment of accountability and collaboration.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices and quality control standards.
- Lead post-project reviews to analyze successes and areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
- Promote and support initiatives for process enhancement, efficiency, and innovation.

- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, or Project Management Professional) that drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate across sections and external personnel to deliver integrated solutions.
- Demonstrated analytical skills applied to troubleshooting, risk management, and strategic decision-making.
- Able to foresee challenges, evaluate alternatives, and implement sustainable solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license as issued by the appropriate state licensing board.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive engineering experience, including complex design projects and a track record of adherence to regulatory and quality standards, including three (3) years of supervisory experience.
