About the role
The Tax team is dedicated to helping clients navigate a complex tax landscape with clarity and confidence. We deliver practical, forward-thinking guidance tailored to each client's goals, offering reliable support through change, growth, and opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership in delivering tax advisory and compliance services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations within the commercial products industry, ensuring regulatory alignment and delivering client value
- Oversee complex tax research and insights, translating technical findings into actionable strategies for clients and firm leadership
- Ensure quality and compliance through high-level review of tax filings and risk management protocols
- Strengthen client relationships by delivering proactive, high-impact tax solutions and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor
- Drive a culture of client service excellence, fostering long-term partnerships and consistent engagement
- Develop and lead high-performing teams, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development
- Manage project execution and resource allocation, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality service delivery
- Support firm growth through strategic planning, client retention, and targeted business development initiatives
- Expand market presence by representing the firm at industry events and cultivating new opportunities
- Maintain technical leadership through ongoing education, regulatory awareness, and internal knowledge sharing
- Promote thought leadership by authoring publications and leading firm-wide training initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field
- 11+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting
- Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings, including overnight stays
