Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary product/platform representative (closed end and evergreen products) for internal and external stakeholders, acting as the conduit between the investment team and client-facing teams.
  • Lead the day-to-day management of assigned products through the full product lifecycle, from fundraising and launch through investment period and maturity.
  • Develop and refine platform positioning, key messaging, and commercial narratives that clearly articulate the strategy, track record, and competitive differentiation of the platform.
  • Oversee and coordinate fundraising efforts across assigned products (closed end and evergreen), partnering with Global Client Solutions to plan campaigns, track pipeline, and support targeted prospect coverage.
  • Lead or support investor/prospects meetings and calls, including preparation and delivery of materials covering portfolio analytics, case studies, performance, pipeline, and market developments.
  • Drive ongoing investor communication, including recurring and ad hoc updates, investor letters, reporting commentary, FAQs, and responses to complex inquiries.
  • Own or co-own marketing collateral for assigned platforms (e.g., pitchbooks, factsheets, platform decks, RFP language, due diligence materials) and ensure content is accurate, consistent, and up to date across channels.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Development to execute go-to-market plans for new funds or product enhancements, including messaging documents, thought leadership, presentations, web content, and sales enablement tools.
  • Maintain platform-specific standard responses and data points to support efficient completion of RFPs, DDQs, and recurring questionnaires.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the structural, operational, and legal aspects of assigned products, including fund terms, cash flows, reporting requirements, and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance to support product onboarding, ongoing governance, documentation, and process enhancements.
  • Monitor platform health and KPIs, providing data-driven insights on fundraising progress, investor mix, product capacity, and other commercial metrics to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Product Development and Investment leadership to evaluate new product ideas, feeder vehicles, and extensions that align with investor demand and firm strategy.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence on the platform’s opportunity set, peer offerings, investor feedback, and structural trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communicate regularly with global sales, client teams, and internal stakeholders on key platform updates, helping to align messaging and priorities across regions and channels.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to junior product team members supporting the platform, delegating tasks, reviewing deliverables, and contributing to training and development.
  • Escalate complex client requests or nuanced product questions to senior stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.) or equivalent work experience; advanced degree (MBA and/or CFA) preferred but not required.
  • 12-15+ years of experience in financial services, with meaningful exposure to technical product management, investor relations, investment consulting, or private markets (e.g., private equity, private credit, infrastructure, or evergreen products).
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with institutional or wealth clients, sales teams, and/or investment professionals in a client-facing or product-focused capacity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and tailor messages to varied audiences (investors, senior management, sales, and partners).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of ownership, organization, and attention to detail; comfortable operating with limited oversight while collaborating across a matrixed organization.

  • Direct experience with private markets products or platforms, including commingled funds, evergreen vehicles, or customized mandates.
  • Familiarity with RFP/DDQ processes, investor reporting, and sales enablement tools.
