Managing Director, Equity Trading - Technology

Responsibilities
- Originate, grow, and monetize high-value institutional trading relationships across hedge funds, mutual funds, and asset managers; with a specific focus on Technology sector mandates (TMT/TMS)
- Deliver differentiated, actionable investment ideas backed by Wedbush's highly regarded Technology research franchise
- Drive revenue growth through active equity trading, block facilitation, and flow monetization
- Partner with research analysts, investment bankers, and sales professionals to deliver fully integrated, high-impact client solutions
- Leverage CRM, Bloomberg, and analytics platforms to proactively manage your pipeline, track performance, and identify emerging revenue opportunities
- Represent Wedbush's brand with the professionalism, credibility, and market authority that top-tier institutional clients demand
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; MBA or CFA a distinction
- 10+ years of institutional equity experience, with demonstrated expertise in the Technology sector (TMT/TMS strongly preferred)
- A proven, portable book of institutional relationships with hedge funds, mutual funds, asset managers, and beyond
- A verifiable production track record with measurable revenue attribution
- Deep command of Technology sector dynamics; including semiconductors and software to AI, cloud infrastructure, and emerging tech
- Expert proficiency in Bloomberg, Thomson Eikon, and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint at an elite level)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, from written, verbal, and in the room with the world's most discerning institutional investors
- Series 7, 57, and 63 licenses (or equivalent); additional licenses a plus

Pay
The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $250,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.

At Wedbush, Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
