Managing Director, Complex Accounting & Litigation (Insurance Solvency Analysis)
Job Description
Lead, mentor, and grow junior team members on client work and business development.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, innovation, and client service.
Assist in internal knowledge sharing, training, and professional development initiatives.
Client Engagement & Project Oversight
Able to oversee and execute engagements in a wide array of disciplines including complex, investigations involving regulatory inquiries, forensic accounting, litigation consulting and expert witness services.
Guide the development of client deliverables including reports, presentations, and data visualizations and testimony.
Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic insight.
Business Development & Market Expansion
Expand your book of business and contribute to the growth of the Complex Accounting & Litigation practice.
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain relationships with law firms, regulators, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in relevant experience ranging from auditing, CFO, regulatory or standard setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services roles.
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
- Proven experience with a focus on executing on client delivery of high quality services and ability to work within and manage a team.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
- Significant experience in the financial services and insurance industries.
- Prior audit experience.
- Additional relevant certifications including CFE, CFF, among others.

Salary Range
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
