Managing Director, Complex Accounting & Litigation (Insurance Solvency Analysis)

Job Description

The Complex Accounting & Litigation team at J.S. Held is seeking a Managing Director to support and expand the practice. The role involves strategic leadership, team development, client engagement, project oversight, business development, and market expansion.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in relevant fields such as auditing, CFO, regulatory or standard setting, forensic accounting, litigation consulting, and expert witness services.
• A Certified Public Accountant or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality services and managing teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex findings.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management.
• Significant experience in the financial services and insurance industries.
• Prior audit experience.
• Additional relevant certifications such as CFE, CFF, etc.

Additional Information

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $200,000 - $300,000. The actual salary is based on various factors including skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
