About the Role
The Managing Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to achieve organizational goals and long-term business objectives. This role leads the development and execution of business strategies, drives financial and operational performance, and ensures effective management of resources, risks, and stakeholder relationships. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the Managing Director partners with senior leaders, employees, clients, and external stakeholders to support sustainable growth, organizational excellence, and shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the organization's strategic vision, business plans, and long-term growth initiatives to achieve sustainable success.
- Business Growth: Identify market opportunities, industry trends, competitive risks, and strategic partnerships that support organizational growth and expansion.
- Operational Management: Oversee business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, service quality, and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, business metrics, and operational benchmarks to drive accountability and results.
- Financial Management: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities while ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Financial Stewardship: Ensure sound financial management practices, effective resource allocation, and compliance with financial controls and regulations.
- Investment & Risk Evaluation: Assess business opportunities, investments, and organizational risks to support informed decision-making and long-term value creation.
- Leadership & Talent Development: Build, develop, and retain high-performing leadership teams while supporting succession planning, coaching, and leadership development.
- Organizational Culture: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, regulators, community leaders, and other key stakeholders.
- Executive Communication: Present organizational performance, strategic initiatives, and recommendations to executive leadership and governance bodies.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, ethical standards, and corporate governance requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate strategic, operational, financial, and reputational risks while maintaining effective internal controls.
- Change Leadership: Lead organizational transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business objectives and long-term success.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Human Resources, or a related field
- MBA or related advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with responsibility for business operations, strategy, and financial performance
- Demonstrated success leading large teams, business units, or complex organizational functions
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and organizational leadership
- Experience working with executive leadership teams and governance boards preferred
- Exceptional leadership, people management, and relationship-building skills
- Strong financial, operational, and business acumen
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading organizational change, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to make sound decisions in complex, fast-paced environments

Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 depending on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
Work Mode: Remote (individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity as there may be occasions when on-site presence is necessary to meet specific business needs; remote work requires a dedicated, distraction-free workspace and is not a substitute for personal responsibilities during working hours).
