Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the growth of UASI’s offerings by supporting business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Drive growth within existing offerings through identification of new opportunities, collaboration with Sales Team, and cultivating trusted relationships with our clients by using SME to demonstrate value.
  • Possess a strong body of knowledge and expertise specifically with CDI Services, UR, Denials Management, Value Based Care and Risk Adjustment models as well as solid knowledge in overall mid-revenue cycle operations with a demonstrated understanding of industry trends and drivers.
  • Serve as a SME to sell and support the sales team with gaining credibility with clients, crafting proposals, creating the scope of work, and strategies to drive growth of consulting engagements.
  • Contribute to thought leadership strategy through a variety of methods including webinars, marketing campaigns, white papers, and speaking engagements.
  • Ensure client deliverables meet expected levels through effective client management and project management.
  • Utilize strong client communication skills by guiding the client through project status meetings, influencing key stakeholders, and ensuring project scope and deliverables are on target.
  • Work closely within project team to understand and identify client obstacles and adapt project workflow and direction to ensure results align with client goals.
  • Use critical thinking skills to synthesize client input, interpret complex data and translate that into actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize effective project management skills to clearly define client deliverables and establish milestones through efficient organization and project planning skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active credential from AHIMA, AAPC, or ACDIS and/or RN or LPN strongly preferred.
  • Strong subject matter expertise specifically with CDI, UR, Denials Management, Value Based Care and Risk Adjustment models as well as solid knowledge in overall mid-revenue cycle operations with a demonstrated understanding of key industry trends/drivers.
  • Ability to understand the problem and articulate a solution in a simple, clear manner.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information and articulate a clear recommendation, rationale, and plan to the client.
  • Proven foundational consulting skills including analytical and critical thinking skills as well as written and verbal communication, client presence and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with client management experience and business acumen.
