About the Role
The Managing Client Advisor for the South reports to the Vice President, Commercial Lines for the South Commercial. This role translates regional growth priorities into disciplined execution across an assigned team of Client Advisors, leading day-to-day sales performance through pipeline rigor, coaching, and accountability for new business, client expansion, retention, and cross-sell activity. The Managing Client Advisor maintains an active market presence and may carry a personal book of business as needed.
Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy Execution: Partner with the Vice President, Growth to translate regional priorities into actionable expectations for the sales team. Reinforce execution through regular coaching and follow-through on key sales behaviors.
- Sales Leadership, Coaching & Team Development: Lead, develop, and support Client Advisors by setting expectations, providing coaching, and reinforcing accountability in partnership with Human Resources.
- Revenue Growth & Business Development: Drive profitable organic growth by reinforcing disciplined prospecting, opportunity management, client expansion, and cross-sell activity. Support Client Advisors in converting opportunities and growing share of wallet.
- Sales Culture & Performance Accountability: Act as a local culture carrier for growth by reinforcing sales activity, pipeline discipline, and client engagement standards. Monitor performance and address gaps.
- Sales Planning, Forecasting & Metrics: Support sales planning and forecasting by monitoring pipeline health, new business activity, and key growth metrics. Leverage KPIs to identify priorities and implement course corrections.
- Client Engagement & Market Presence: Support key client, prospect, and market-facing activities to strengthen Acrisure’s reputation and enhance retention and expansion opportunities.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with operations, placement, and service partners to ensure growth strategies are supported by strong execution and service quality.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, operations, placement, service, and Human Resources to align team execution with growth priorities and organizational standards.
- Process Improvement & Technology Adoption: Support the adoption of tools and technology to enhance sales execution, visibility, and scalability.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent insurance experience.
- Active P&C license.
- Strong background in commercial construction.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in commercial insurance and/or financial services, with demonstrated depth in Commercial Lines.
- Strong knowledge of selling strategies, pipeline management, and performance drivers for sustained growth.
- Demonstrated experience leading sales teams and driving growth through coaching and accountability.
- Ability to motivate teams and perform in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Sound business judgment and problem-solving capabilities in complex environments.
- Resilience and composure under pressure, managing competing priorities.
- Strong leadership and coaching presence with internal teams and external clients.
- Deep understanding of Commercial Lines markets, client needs, and competitive dynamics.
Schedule
Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership. Travel up to 25% of the time is required.
