Managing Attorney - Louisiana

About the role

Our law firm seeks a Managing Attorney for its high-volume foreclosure practice. This position requires client contact and a high-volume workload. License to practice law in Louisiana required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the firm’s foreclosure and litigation departments.
• Work with and assist in supervision of paralegals and support staff.
• Maintain the highest quality of work-product while helping clients achieve their goals and ensure firm policies and procedures are being followed.
• Monitor progress and develop strategies to effectively bring files to resolution.
• Develop and grow client relations.

Requirements

• Detailed knowledge of law and extensive experience related to creditors’ rights legal representation (real estate, foreclosure, litigation).
• Working knowledge of the rules of civil procedure and their application to foreclosure matters.
• Knowledge of Federal and State consumer protection statutes.
• Louisiana barred for 8+ years.
• 8+ years’ experience in Creditors’ Rights.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Membership in the Louisiana Bar.
