Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop 3–6 associate attorneys and paralegals. Set clear expectations and provide consistent, actionable feedback.
- Review and approve pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and other key documents before filing or submission.
- Be the first call when a case gets complicated, offering strategic direction and steady guidance to your team.
- Conduct regular case reviews to ensure matters move forward on schedule, deadlines are met, and client communication is exemplary.
- Carry your own active caseload of complex family law matters across all of our practice areas.
- Lead client consultations on high-complexity and high-value cases.
- Partner with firm ownership on attorney hiring, performance reviews, and team development.
- Be the living embodiment of our values (integrity, empathy, and curiosity) in every client and team interaction.
Qualifications
- Active member of the State Bar of Georgia in good standing.
- Minimum 10 years of experience exclusively in family law.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory, senior, or lead attorney capacity, overseeing a team of attorneys.
- Deep working knowledge of O.C.G.A. Title 19 (Domestic Relations) and current Georgia case law.
- Proven courtroom experience in Georgia Superior Court; Cobb County familiarity strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated history across the full spectrum of family law: high-asset divorce, contested custody, domestic violence, legitimation, adoption, and prenuptial agreements.
- A direct, confident communicator who addresses issues head-on, gives clear feedback, and has hard conversations without hesitation or drama.
- A natural mentor who invests in people and takes real satisfaction in watching them grow.
- Detail-oriented and willing to go the extra mile to get it right the first time.
- Embraces technology and innovation and is proficient in practice management software (Lawmatics, MyCase, or similar).

Compensation
$175,000 - $200,000/year
