Responsibilities
- Managing and mentoring a team of litigation attorneys
- Handling high-value settlements, real estate, business, and construction disputes, and complex dissolution matters
- Maintaining your own billable targets while supporting the team in hitting theirs
- Partnering with firm leadership on growth, capacity planning, and culture
Qualifications
- Supervised 10+ attorneys in a prior law firm
- Handled 20+ bench trials
- Handled 5+ jury trials
- A self-starter; you don't need to be managed; you need to be the resource
- Comfortable with accountability scorecards, billable targets, and weekly metrics
- Led or mentored other attorneys and wants to do more of it
- Client-facing and confident; you can hold a room in a settlement negotiation
