Manager, Warehouse

About the role

Location: Ontario, CA. Department: Warehouse. Reports To: Warehouse and Transportation Director. FLSA Status: Exempt.

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing activities related to shipping, receiving, warehousing and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goals, objectives, policies, and standard operating procedures for the warehouse department.
• Plan, schedule and track departmental activities including cycle counting, inventory management, asset management, inventory transactions, auditing, and reporting.
• Coordination of transportation of material and finished goods to and from the manufacturing plants.
• Integrate departmental changes and new processes.
• Develop and manage annual departmental budget.
• Recommend capital projects to increase efficiency and services of the warehousing departments.
• Maximize the use of the TMS system Mercury Gate and D365.
• Optimize warehousing space, inventory turns,
