Manager, Warehouse
About the role
As a Warehouse Manager at Hilldrup, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and order fulfillment. You will lead and train a team, implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborating across departments and with logistics partners, you will optimize workflows, maintain accurate records, and drive operational efficiency to ensure a productive, safe, and customer-focused warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and safety compliance.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and accuracy in warehouse operations.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations and best practices in materials handling.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and carriers for seamless transportation and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Plan and allocate warehouse resources, including staffing, equipment, and storage space.
- Oversee shipping documentation, packaging, and labeling to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Manage workflow to meet daily, weekly, and monthly operational goals and deadlines.
- Resolve operational problems or conflicts, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment and facilities.

- Forklift and warehouse equipment operation knowledge (preferred)
