Manager, Treasury Operations - Accounts Receivable (Hybrid)
We need a Treasury Operations Manager who can lead people, create accountability, and bring multiple teams together around a common way of working. You will model operational excellence, using data, process improvement, and problem-solving skills to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and deliver consistent results.
About the role
You will lead an Accounts Receivable operation responsible for premium collections, payment application, account reconciliation, and recovery activities that support customers, agents, and partners. The team includes both in-office and remote employees across multiple operating companies, requiring a leader who can create consistency, build accountability, and unite teams around a common way of working. You will report to a Senior Manager, Treasury.
In this hybrid role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from the office. Candidates should reside within approximately 50 miles of Madison, WI 53783.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team by providing coaching, feedback, employee development, and clear accountability for results.
- Oversee critical business operations performed by both in-office and remote teams to ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that simplify processes, reduce complexity, eliminate waste, and improve operational performance.
- Build strong partnerships across departments to solve problems, remove barriers, and achieve shared business outcomes.
- Lead teams through change by creating clarity, managing ambiguity, and helping employees adapt to evolving priorities and business needs.
- Ensure appropriate controls, governance, and risk management practices are embedded within day-to-day operations.
- Use data, metrics, and business insights to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and improve operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to the future direction of the organization by strengthening capabilities, improving the employee experience, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with cross-functional project teams.
- Demonstrated experience with escheat process or accounts receivable guidelines and state laws.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts.
- Solid understanding of the cash flows of the organization.
- Solid understanding of risk mitigation of fraud in Accounts Receivable.
- Travel - Up to 10%.
Pay
Position compensation range: $80,000.00 - $131,000.00 (salary). Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
