Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation of new Technology and develop product roadmaps by providing technical and strategic direction
  • Foster the development of a high-performing team consistently delivering business value, breakthrough innovation, and transformative results
  • Agile Framework Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models
    • Ability to determine which framework best fits each project or portfolio
    • Skilled at coaching teams through agile practices
  • Change Management & Transformation Leadership:
    • Manage a team responsible for product and product delivery
    • Lead organizational change to shift teams from waterfall to agile approaches
    • Communicate the “why” behind agile to reduce resistance and increase adoption
  • Portfolio & Capacity Management:
    • Align agile delivery with strategic priorities
    • Manage team capacity, resource planning, and sprint forecasting
    • Ensure transparency of demand vs. capacity
  • Governance in an Agile Environment:
    • Establish metrics (velocity, throughput, cycle time, OKRs)
    • Ensure compliance with enterprise standards without slowing delivery
  • Coaching & Team Development:
    • Coach project managers, scrum masters, and product owners
    • Support teams in maturing through agile stages
    • Provide feedback, mentorship, and continuous learning opportunities
  • Communication & Stakeholder Alignment:
    • Communicate progress through agile reporting (burn-downs, Kanban flow, dashboards)
    • Bridge communication between business, IT, and executive leadership
    • Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset:
    • Encourage experimentation, retrospectives, and incremental improvement
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and remove waste
    • Promote a culture of learning and adaptability
  • Risk & Dependency Management:
    • Track and mitigate risks within iterative delivery cycles
    • Manage cross-team dependencies in complex portfolios
    • Ensure proactive escalation and decision-making
  • Strategic Thinking & Business Alignment:
    • Connect agile ways of working to measurable business outcomes
    • Ensure the portfolio supports organizational objectives
    • Use data to drive prioritization and decision-making
  • Tools & Technology Proficiency:
    • Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow SPM, Notion, Aha!
    • Build dashboards, support workflow automation, and standardize tool usage

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of managerial and leadership experience
  • Minimum 10 years of required experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management

Pay

Estimated salary range for this position is $144,738.24 - $188,159.71 per year depending on experience.
