Manager Tax Planning

About the role

This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN. This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical business partner managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Review the income tax impact of development deals.
  • Manage external consultants to validate the accuracy and completeness of tax planning projects.
  • Work with international colleagues on cross-border tax planning initiatives and strategic projects.

How You'll Collaborate With Others

  • Provide tax-related guidance to the Company's Treasury, Development, Legal, Operations Finance, and Owner Relations teams.
  • Cookordinate with the domestic and international tax reporting and compliance teams to ensure tax planning initiatives align with applicable regulations and are properly implemented.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Tax Forecasting on international tax modeling.

Deliverables You'll Take Ownership Of

  • Review legal agreements to identify optimal tax planning considerations for development initiatives.
  • Review of international tax modeling.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

  • Five (5) consecutive years of professional experience in tax.
  • Three (3) years of experience performing detailed reviews.
  • Experience using MS Excel.

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • A Certified Public Accountant certification.
  • Proficiency in corporate financial systems (i.e. PeopleSoft and FCC/HFM).
  • Experience writing technical memorandums.
  • Familiarity with international tax concepts such as withholding taxes and transfer pricing.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $90,000 – $130,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
