About the Role

This position is within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function, specifically in the Purchasing career stream. As a Manager 2 in Supply Chain Purchasing, you will play a key role in driving procurement strategies and managing supplier relationships to support Celestica’s global operations and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials, services, and solutions.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize performance, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to align procurement with business objectives.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and mitigate risks.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and supplier management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain roles, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity.
