Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, execution, and operational efficiency of all material and services content for two Operating Units
- Drive strong supplier performance through focused management approaches designed to proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Manage supplier relationships and support negotiations for major subcontract awards
- Act as the primary focal point for program leadership for GSC and coordinate cross-functionally to ensure all supply chain commitments are met
- Monitor and manage emerging global supply chain issues and develop mitigation strategies to best position programs for continued success
- Lead GSC in proposal efforts supporting our growing campus through cross-functional collaboration with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Pricing & Estimating
- Develop key suppliers to support critical program and industry technologies
- Assume lead responsibility for the assessment of supply resources and to aggregate and prioritize demand requirements
- Maintain an accurate and predictable material receipt forecast for the Annapolis campus
- Report to executive leadership at program management reviews
- Participate in make/buy decisions beneficial to programs and the campus
- Manage both short and long-term capacity and resource planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in operations, supply chain, business, or program management or a Master's degree and a minimum of 6 years in operations, supply chain, business, or program management
- Experience with supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning
- Minimum of 5 years in a formal lead/management position of people
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI
- High proficiency with SAP, particularly Supply Chain/MRP transactions
- Experience and/or knowledge in a manufacturing environment
Pay
Primary salary range: $167,500.00 - $251,300.00. The above range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions when determining base salary offers. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
