Manager Supply Chain Programs 3
About the role
The Manager Supply Chain Programs 3 will lead the Global Supply Chain organization for the Aerospace Structures Business Unit within Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems. This role is responsible, accountable, and has authority for supply chain strategy, planning, and execution across a diverse portfolio including F-35, B-2, A350, and commercial programs. The selected candidate will be a high-performing, experienced leader who is goal-oriented and equipped to partner with a wide range of stakeholders to support corporate, sector, and division objectives. They will leverage an understanding of supply chain processes and business systems and work closely with program stakeholders and across functions to deliver optimal results.
Key responsibilities
- Key leadership interface for Senior Director Business Unit Leader
- Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material content for programs
- Provides leadership for the GSC organization in a matrixed environment, ensuring strategies and plans are aligned with the business unit
- Leads process improvement initiatives and optimization efforts
- Will participate in leadership meetings, collaborating across functions for supply chain solutions
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of experience in supply chain management, program/project management, business management, sustainment, proposals, procurement OR Master's Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, program/project management, business management, sustainment, proposals, procurement OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 11 years of experience in supply chain management, program/project management, business management, sustainment, proposals, procurement
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
- Aerospace & Defense experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain active U.S. Government Secret level clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Preferred qualifications
- Master's Degree with at least 6 years of experience in supply chain management, program management, operations, business management or related field
- Experience briefing executive-level audiences
- Cost Account Management (CAM) experience
- Experience integrating supply chain financial data into larger program and business unit forecasting
- Extensive supplier management experience
- Solid understanding of business systems, including SAP & MES
- Active security clearance
Work schedule & location
This position is onsite in Clearfield, Utah. The role offers a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, flexible work arrangements, learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects and customers, and a friendly team environment.
Pay & benefits
Salary range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00. Base pay offers are determined by scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
Relocation assistance may be available. Travel: 10% of the time.
