Manager, Supplier Relationship Management

About the role

We're seeking a Manager, Supplier Relationship Management for our Supply Chain & Logistics team. This role involves supplier governance management, market trend understanding, sourcing management, financial analysis, negotiation, and contract management. The position requires interaction with Commercial and Clinical Supply Chain, Manufacturing, CMC, Quality, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier selection sourcing projects in areas such as drug substance, drug product, clinical services, and packaging services within a contract manufacturing structure.
• Build relationships and earn trust of incumbent and prospective suppliers.
• Communicate and present in group settings with confidence.
• Analyze pricing scenarios and cost breakdowns with financial skills.
• Negotiate supply agreement terms and manage cross-functional business review sessions.
• Develop presentation content, coordinate drafting of reports, and edit documents for business development activities.
• Prepare metrics for dashboards and monitor supplier performance, implementing action plans to improve metrics.
• Ensure suppliers comply with agreements and align with business requirements.
• Manage action plans to ensure agreements are effective and current.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in supplier selection, relationship governance, or supply chain management processes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Sourcing Management and Supplier Governance Relationship concepts and practices.
• Strong business acumen with negotiation skills.
• Proactive, independent, self-starter personality.
• Collaborative skills in an entrepreneurial, growth organization.
• Ability to execute tasks timely and to established schedules.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Passion for transforming the lives of patients with serious diseases.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Sciences industry is highly preferred.

Pay

$124,000.00 - $161,000.00 Annual

Schedule

This is a hybrid role based out of our Bridgewater, NJ office. You’ll have the option to work remotely most of the time, with in-person collaboration when it matters most. Occasional domestic travel (approximately 10%) is required.
