Manager, Supplier Operations

Leads the teams responsible for driving process improvement and supplier engagement associated with the rapid assortment expansion of hd.com and subsequent required item troubleshooting. Creates and implements processes that optimize the efficiency of online merchandising data management for both ecommerce and store products on homedepot.com. Coordinates with all internal and external vendors to meet deadlines, budget, and strategic objectives of the online merchandising team and the homedepot.com organization.

Responsibilities

• Manages the execution of complex special programs that typically involve business-to-business customers and internal functions (30%).
• Creates and implements processes to optimize the efficiency of product data collection. Enrolls internal functions and external partners in the development of workflow procedures and the ongoing monitoring and improvement of those procedures (20%).
• Coordinates and leads all internal functions in the execution of promotions and data collection on homedepot.com (20%).
• Collaborates with internal and external customers to develop processes/programs to drive timely execution of product data collection for homedepot.com; utilizes workload management to communicate with merchants (10%).
• Manages external resources and outside vendors to ensure execution of programs and tactics on time and within budget. Manages projects and the allotment of money to meet budgetary and segment goals (10%).
• Troubleshoots and problem-solves for ongoing operational needs as they arise (10%).

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
• Understanding of basic corporate financial practices.
• Experience in Vendor Management, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Merchandising.
• Well-developed presentation skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to maintain composure and productivity in a dynamic environment.
• Systematic problem-solving approach, researching alternatives and making recommendations.
• Deadline-oriented with both long- and short-term projects.

Schedule

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Working Conditions

• Located in a comfortable indoor area; unpleasant conditions are infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting with frequent opportunity to move about; occasional need to move or lift light articles.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Online Merch Solutions and may have 0-5 direct reports.
