Manager, Structural Design & Analysis

About the role

As a Structural Design & Analysis (SDA) Manager, you will lead and develop a team of engineers responsible for the structural integrity of pressure boundary components and reactor vessel internal (RVI) components. This includes ASME Section III stress and fatigue, and ASME Section XI flaw evaluations. The team's work focuses on Westinghouse and Combustion Engineering (CE) plant designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and hiring
• Build a collaborative team culture that emphasizes technical thoughtfulness, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
• Oversee work planning, prioritization, and resource management across inspection support and a variety of ageing management projects
• Ensure high-quality delivery of engineering work products with internal quality processes and industry standards
• Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and a safe and quality culture

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering; mechanical, materials, nuclear, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in nuclear plant engineering
• Expertise as a people manager or team lead, with responsibility for performance management and staff development

Pay

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year.

Schedule

The manager will directly manage the SDA engineering staff, reporting to the Director, Reactor Component Engineering and located at our Windsor, CT location with a hybrid work capacity.
