Manager, Streaming Platform Marketing & Partnerships
About the role
Pocket.watch is the first and largest next-gen creator media company creating global franchises with the most popular video creators on the planet. We are seeking a hands-on Manager of Streaming Platform Marketing & Partnerships to help grow audiences for our channels and content across a broad network of streaming platforms, including Amazon, Roku, Samsung, Pluto, Tubi and others, encompassing O&O channels and content syndication. This role sits at the intersection of paid media, streaming-platform partner management, content marketing, performance analytics, and promotional activations with a key focus on creating, managing and optimizing Amazon Advertising campaigns to drive growth in the company’s kids and family SVOD service, Ryan and Friends Plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage paid advertising campaigns for Ryan and Friends Plus, with a primary focus on Amazon Advertising and Amazon Prime Video Channels growth.
- Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns across relevant streaming and CTV ecosystems, including Amazon, Roku, and other paid media platforms.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external sources to develop campaign briefs, targeting recommendations, creative needs, budgets, timelines, and performance reports.
- Track campaign performance against KPIs such as impressions, clicks, trials, subscriptions, cost per acquisition, engagement, and retention signals where available.
- Identify opportunities to test new creative, audience segments, placements, offers, and platform-specific promotional tools.
- Serve as a day-to-day marketing contact for editorial, merchandising, and partner teams at platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Roku Channel, Samsung TV Plus, Pluto TV, Tubi, and others.
- Pitch current and upcoming programming for platform promotion, editorial features, seasonal collections, homepage placements, newsletters, app merchandising, and other opportunities to drive reach and discovery.
- Maintain a promotional calendar tied to premieres, tentpole programming, seasonal themes, platform priorities, PR moments, and paid media campaigns.
- Cook up platform-ready marketing assets, descriptions, imagery, metadata, trailers, copy, and promotional materials.
- Create and manage email newsletters or partner updates promoting pocket.watch programming to external distribution, editorial, and platform contacts.
- Write concise, compelling copy that helps partners understand what to feature, why it matters, and when to promote it.
- Maintain segmented contact lists for platform partners, editorial teams, distribution partners, PR contacts, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze data from video performance dashboards to understand audience behavior, title-level performance, acquisition trends, engagement, and campaign impact.
- Create regular reports summarizing what is working, what is underperforming, and what actions should be taken next.
- Use performance insights to recommend programming priorities, promotional themes, campaign adjustments, and partner pitches.
- Build lightweight dashboards or trackers that make marketing activity, partner outreach, campaign spend, and results easy to understand.
- Track all marketing and promotional activities across platforms, campaigns, partners, and programming priorities.
- Coordinate with internal programming, editorial, creative, distribution, and leadership teams to ensure upcoming shows receive appropriate marketing support.
- Partner with PR reps on media and thought-leadership opportunities, speaking engagements, press moments, and campaign tie-ins.
- Help create a repeatable marketing operational systems.
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience in streaming marketing, paid media, partner marketing, entertainment marketing, digital distribution, CTV advertising, or audience development.
- Hands-on experience marketing a subscription streaming channel with Amazon Ads on Amazon Prime Video Channels with Amazon Ads.
- Familiarity with the streaming ecosystem, including SVOD, AVOD, FAST, CTV, digital linear channels, and platform merchandising.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with video performance dashboards, campaign reports, and subscriber or engagement data.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to track multiple campaigns, partners, assets, and deadlines at once.
- Strong written communication skills for partner newsletters, programming pitches, campaign summaries, and internal reporting.
- Experience working with external partners, platform editorial teams, agencies, PR firms, or distribution partners.
- Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable in a small-business environment where priorities can move quickly.
- Experience with Amazon DSP, Prime Video Channels marketing, Roku advertising, CTV/OTT campaigns, paid social, or other digital advertising platform a plus.
