Responsibilities
- Work with FSG executives and property executives to surface, scope, and prioritize long-term corporate strategy and strategic initiatives.
- Support the development of long-term business plans in collaboration with FSG businesses.
- Maintain relationships across the sports/tech ecosystem to surface relevant start-ups and trends for the team.
- Support integration roadmap development for new acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships.
- Aid in evaluating real estate opportunities and other commercial opportunities across a range of FSG properties.
- Assist in M&A processes, including business and legal diligence and negotiation.
- Coordinate horizontal Platform Initiatives to scale best practices and tools across properties.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, ensuring alignment between FSG and property teams.
- Translate horizontal coordination into tangible and measurable value for FSG and its properties.
- Improve and maintain reporting frameworks that provide FSG leadership, businesses, and investors with visibility into portfolio initiatives and performance.
- Explore development of a comprehensive structure for minority investment management and investor reporting.
- Prepare presentations, memos, and dashboards that clearly communicate priorities, progress, and results.
- Support day-to-day project work: build analyses, maintain project plans, and coordinate deliverables.
- Coordinate small, multi-disciplinary project teams or workstreams as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred but not required.
- 3-6 years of experience at a management consulting firm or in a corporate strategy or development role at a large company or financial institution.
- Intellectually curious and passionate about the business of sports, media, and entertainment.
- Strong modeling skills, including versatility with Excel and other tools, along with strong PowerPoint and oral presentation skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and quantitative skills.
- Proven ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
- Organized, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and proven ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet manner.
- Ability to travel when needed.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Boston, MA.
