This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in New York, New York. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week; Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

About the role

The Strategy team serves as a thought partner and execution engine for senior leadership, working on the highest-priority, cross-functional challenges facing the business. This is an opportunity to operate as an internal consultant and drive tangible impact—leading high-visibility initiatives across merchandising, planning & allocations, store operations, and marketing. Responsibilities

  • Lead and support high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives from problem definition through execution, partnering closely with functional leaders across the organization
  • Develop structured hypotheses, conduct rigorous analyses, and synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Partner with teams such as Merchandising, Planning & Allocation, Store Operations, and Marketing to solve complex business problems and drive measurable outcomes
  • Build business cases and implementation roadmaps to enable decision-making and ensure initiatives translate into real impact
  • Drive alignment across stakeholders by coordinating workstreams, setting pace and expectations, and removing barriers to execution—not just tracking progress, but actively pushing teams toward outcomes

Example Projects Could Include:

  • Supporting functional teams in identifying areas of opportunity and developing execution plans
  • Building solutions to help teams operate more efficiently and effectively
  • Advancing key enterprise initiatives and strategic priorities
  • Partnering with leadership on critical internal initiatives

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategy consulting or in internal strategy within retail or CPG preferred
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial concepts; ability to translate analysis into strategic insight and action
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and structured thinking; able to independently frame ambiguous problems and drive them forward
  • Proven ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative analysis and synthesize market, customer, and operational insights
  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to lead multiple workstreams in parallel and drive execution through influence
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Highly proactive, intellectually curious, and willing to roll up sleeves to drive outcomes
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and low ego
  • Passion for sneakers and sports is a plus

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $100,000 - $140,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short-term incentives that align with company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
