About the role

The Manager of Strategy will support Americo in articulating, evaluating, and executing the company's business strategy. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and leaders to identify strategic opportunities, analyze trends, develop recommendations, and monitor the performance of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and document corporate and departmental strategies.
  • Lead strategic initiative planning efforts across departments.
  • Partner with business leaders to conduct feasibility analyses on future opportunities.
  • Support business case development and financial modeling for strategic initiatives.
  • Lead execution and delivery of strategic initiatives, including product evaluations, platform implementations, and operational/process improvements.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to shape and execute strategic efforts.
  • Support ongoing tracking of benefits realization of executed strategic initiatives.
  • Gather and validate internal operational data to support prioritization of strategic opportunities.
  • Prepare executive-level reports outlining progress against strategic priorities.
  • Conduct competitor research and insights.
  • Analyze customer and market trends (market sizing, customer segmentation, etc.).
  • Ongoing review of innovation and technology trends.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in consulting, accounting, finance, or corporate strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and business case development.
  • Experience working with analytics or business intelligence tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, and present large volumes of data.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the life insurance or annuity industry.
