Manager Strategic Delivery

This position supports the AV Production team and is eligible for a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week based out of Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Production Design team members.
- Directly supervise all full-time, part-time, and contingent Production Designers, including management of scheduling, payroll, customer service skills, and operational policies.
- Conduct performance discussions, development planning, and coaching sessions.
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training activities.
- Establish team goals aligned with organizational objectives.
- Balance workloads and allocate resources to support business needs.
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs.
- Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise for complex event designs.
- Create and review floor plans, technical drawings, and production documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, sales, operations, and project managers to develop event designs.
- Ensure design deliverables accurately communicate production intent.
- Maintain expertise in industry standards, design technologies, and production workflows.
- Establish and maintain Production Design standards, processes, and best practices.
- Oversee quality assurance and design review procedures.
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
- Support workload forecasting and capacity planning.
- Lead adoption of design technologies, automation solutions, and business processes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, templates, job aids, and training resources.
- Support reporting, analytics, AI adoption, and process optimization efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and venue regulations.
- Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in event production, production design, or related fields.
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
