Manager, Strategic Communications & Business Planning

For a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space, we are seeking a Manager of Strategic Communications & Business Planning to join their team. This role focuses on operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are critical to success.

About the role

You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of strategic communications plans for the VP and broader team
• Drive the development of executive presentations and internal narratives
• Collaborate with communications leaders to enhance the strategic quality of their work
• Ensure documents are consistently high in strategic rigor and readability
• Act as a strategic partner for planning and prioritization with the VP
• Support operational rhythms, including meeting structures and accountability
• Shape leadership communications in collaboration with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

• 12+ years in strategic communications or related fields
• Proven experience supporting senior leaders with discretion and cross-functional influence
• Strong track record in developing executive-level materials
• Experience navigating a complex, matrixed organization
• Ability to transition smoothly between strategy formulation and execution

Pay

$140,100 – $186,700 annually
