About the role

This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of statistical programmers, setting objectives and providing feedback
  • Lead resource planning and forecasting for statistical programming efforts
  • Ensure quality and adherence to programming standards for clinical studies and regulatory submissions
  • Develop, oversee, and verify statistical code for clinical study outputs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose solutions to programming challenges and improve efficiency
  • Monitor regulatory guidance and industry best practices to ensure compliance in programming techniques
  • Mentor programmers and oversee the development of standard operating procedures and macros

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent education/experience
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical programming for medical devices or drug development
  • Experience in a supervisory role preferred, with strong leadership skills
  • Familiarity with clinical trials and regulatory agency expectations (e.g., FDA, PMDA)
  • Proficient in statistical programming and Macro development, with high accuracy and attention to detail

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $158,000 – $227,000 annually
