About the role
The Manager/Senior Manager Of Procurement, Packaging will develop strong material strategies, maintain supplier relationships, and lead strategic business relationships to ensure the alignment of sourcing strategies, sustainability roadmap, and project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and negotiate contracts for key materials and cost model development, partnering with the legal team
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to proactively mitigate possible service and/or quality issues, acting as an escalation partner for the Procurement Operational team
- Identify, develop, and lead strategic business relationships, both internally and externally, to ensure the alignment of sourcing strategies, sustainability roadmap, and project implementation (including packaging needs at contract manufacturers)
- Collaborate with suppliers, technical and other functional groups, as well as CMS, Technology, Marketing, and Finance functions to implement Procurement policies, resolve issues, align service and financial compliance, including mold/asset management strategies
- Lead continuous improvement programs with suppliers, including savings projects
- Support the Supplier Relationship Management program by completing a Holistic Risk Assessment and audits on suppliers and supporting Responsible Sourcing Initiatives
- Ensure achievement of the Purchasing Key Performance Indicators (Customer Service, Non-Conformance, UPDT due to material shortage, Funding The Growth, Single Source Management, Supplier Diversity)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field
- 8+ years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Financial, or Marketing related experience
- Experience in running Requests for Information (RFIs) and Request for Proposals (RFPs) with strong data analysis skills
- Solid understanding of planning, operation, or raw/packaging materials, including SAP systems and Google Suite tools
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of planning, operation, or raw/packaging materials, including SAP systems and Google Suite tools
- Advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPM, CPIM, or Project Management) is desirable
- Production plant operations or planning experience
- Experience with developing material strategies & cost models with a deep understanding of commodity impacts
- Ability to work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams through relationship building using formal and informal influence with strong project management skills
- Problem-solving to ensure timely resolution of challenges & data-driven decision-making

Benefits
Salary range: $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
