Manager - Spiritual Care

Job Summary

Maintains a team who understands the mission, vision and values of the organization and provides patient-oriented care to those they serve.

Ensures that spiritual care is part of the care team and provides insight into how spiritual care can be a partner in the delivery of care.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Level in Ministry or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience. Two or more years of spiritual care experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Licensure, Certification, Registration: Board Certified with the Association for Professional Chaplains (APC), National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC), Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC), or an equivalent certifying organization prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Experience: Supporting clinical outcomes in an acute care setting preferred.
• Knowledge: Of Epic, ethics and palliative medicine necessary.
