About the role

The Manager – Special Markets will manage Order-To-Cash (OTC) processes for Special Markets, including Overseas Military, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Guam/Saipan. The role also supports the OTC process for U.S. Travel Retail and Puerto Rico.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned markets and customer accounts through the OTC processes to ensure order fulfillment, delivery exception resolution, and any credit issuances.
  • Understand the unique portfolio of products for assigned markets and the nuances of all markets.
  • Manage duty-free SKU conversion requests.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of export documentation including invoices, packing lists, TTB forms, bills of lading, and U.S. CBP EEI filing, ensuring compliance with U.S. Government regulations.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with the Tax Department, RJR Logistics, warehouses, and Special Markets - Field Trade Marketing.
  • Assist Lead Manager with system testing for pricing updates and IT process changes for SAP and Order Direct as required.
  • Manage freight payments and submissions for duty-free shipments.
  • Communicate any delays or lost shipments to customers.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on a small team
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in Order Management, Customer Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Export Operations, International Trade, Sales Operations, Customer Service, or a related field

Competitive compensation package.

Schedule

  • Paid Leave:
    • Sick and Personal Time (exempt employees may be excused with pay for brief absences; non-exempt employees receive up to 6 days)
    • Vacation: 15 days for levels below Senior Director (pro-rated during first year of service); 25 days for Senior Director and Officers (pro-rated during first year of service)
