About the role

Single-threaded ownership of a US-based Specialist Solution Architecture team focused on helping AWS customers migrate and maintain their SAP workloads. Maintains key stakeholder relationships across AWS at a global level. Serves as a technical executive sponsor for key accounts in the US. Actively coaches and performance manages a high-performing team, holding a high bar for results and individual growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles
  • Implement and manage SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA
  • Architect, migrate, transform, or modernize customer requirements to the cloud
  • Shape business strategy for technical products or services for large enterprises or partners
  • Coach and performance manage a high-performing team
  • Enable new capabilities for customers to develop and deploy SAP workloads
  • Collaborate with sales to drive revenue growth across a broad set of enterprise customers and partners

Requirements

  • 2+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc. experience
  • 8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles
  • 7+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA

Qualifications

  • Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
  • 10+ years of enterprise IT application work that includes at least 2 years of hands-on software development or DevOps engineering experience

Skills

  • Passionate about helping companies/partners understand best practices for SAP technologies on AWS, migrating workloads, and the modernization of legacy architectures
  • Ability to be a thought leader in terms of looking beyond the technology and considering the value AWS technology can bring to our customers
  • Able to interact, communicate, and partner across teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your teams to executive management
