Manager, Solutions Architecture, SAP, AGS-US Specialists

About the role

AWS is seeking a seasoned and technically proficient executive to lead a team of SAP Technology-Specialized Field Solutions Architects (SAs) focused on the US market. The role involves hiring and developing the top cloud-based solutions architects, enabling and coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation skills, and architecture creation. This executive will collaborate with sales to drive revenue growth by helping customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions on AWS. They will also assist in enabling new capabilities for customers to develop and deploy SAP workloads.

Responsibilities

• Single-threaded ownership of a US-based Specialist Solution Architecture team focused on helping AWS customers migrate and maintain their SAP workloads.
• Maintain key stakeholder relationships across AWS at a global level.
• Serve as a technical executive sponsor for key accounts in the US.
• Actively coach and performance manage a high-performing team, setting a high bar for results and individual growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
• 8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.
• 7+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
• 10+ years of enterprise IT application work that includes at least 2 years of hands-on software development or DevOps engineering experience.
• Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services for large enterprises or partners.
