About the role

AWS is seeking a seasoned and technically proficient executive to lead a team of SAP Technology-Specialized Field Solutions Architects (SAs) focused on the US market. The ideal candidate will help hire and develop the top cloud-based solutions architects by providing guidance on best practices, solution selling, and architecture creation. They will collaborate with sales to drive revenue growth and assist customers in implementing innovative cloud computing solutions on AWS. This role involves working closely with services teams to enable new capabilities for customers.

Responsibilities

Single-threaded ownership of a US-based Specialist Solution Architecture team focused on helping AWS customers migrate and maintain their SAP workloads.
Maintain key stakeholder relationships across AWS at a global level.
Serve as a technical executive sponsor for key accounts in the US.
Actively coach and performance manage a high-performing team, setting a high bar for results and individual growth.

About the team

Qualifications

2+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelizing end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
Bachelor's degree.
Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer-facing roles.
7+ years of implementing and managing SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA.
