For our client, a leader in the Healthcare space, we are seeking a Manager of Software Engineering (Salesforce) to lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence.
About the role
You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop cross-functional engineering teams with a focus on talent development
- Own daily project execution and champion agile methodologies for effective delivery
- Provide hands-on technical mentorship and guide complex architectural decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, for project alignment
- Ensure engineering quality and compliance with healthcare regulatory guidelines
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for software development
- Define and monitor key performance metrics to track team productivity
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- 2+ years of people leadership and engineering management experience
- Proven ability to develop high-performing teams with a people-first approach
- Experience creating a culture that is creative, collaborative, and caring
- Strong technical skills in Python, React, TypeScript, Flask/FastAPI, Redux, and NoSQL
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code practices (e.g., AWS, CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Excellent collaboration skills with product management to define product vision
Pay
$190,000 – $210,000 annually
