Manager, Software Engineering (Reliability Platform)

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performance product engineering team
• Leverage AI-assisted workflows for platform development and automation
• Translate operational challenges into clear technical requirements
• Develop scalable reliability and risk management capabilities
• Build systems to improve understanding of service ownership and dependencies
• Drive alignment across engineering teams for requirement definition and prioritization
• Execute and deliver on critical cross-functional reliability initiatives

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend or full stack engineering experience
• 2+ years of engineering leadership experience
• Experience with Production Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering teams
• Expertise in observability tools and reliability practices
• Strong operational judgment in ambiguous problem spaces
• Experience with internal platforms and operational automation systems
• Strong programming skills (Python, Kotlin, Java, or similar)
• Effective communication and organizational leadership skills
