Job Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a software engineering team to deliver projects on time and within budget through coaching and performance management
- Drive improvements in development practices, including team structure, processes, tooling, security, and compliance to enhance efficiency
- Oversee technical vendor relationships to influence product features and ensure alignment with technical requirements
- Recruit and onboard qualified team members to strengthen team capabilities and support project demands
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience
- Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or in a computer programming related field
- 4-7 years Experience in an Analytics and Business Intelligence development environment
- Less than 2 years Experience in managing or supervising a team of 15 developers or more
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Agile Methodologies: Knowledge in software with Agile Scrum methodologies and other commonly used tools
- Technical Writing: Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences
- Agile Project Management: Experience with Agile backlog/project management tools
- Technology: Experience in delivering large and complex business/technology initiatives
- Communication: Proven ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Leadership, while employing a high degree of collaboration and influence
- Collaboration: Experience with successive elaboration and ability to develop Initiatives, Features and User Stories that the DevOps teams can ingest
- Business Analysis: Strong analytical skills with ability to identify/analyze/synthesize product use data
- Technical Writing: Strong requirements elicitation, and proven writing skills including the ability to write concisely and clearly for different audiences
Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO)
- Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Compensation Range
Overland Park, KS : $146,200 to $197,800
Frisco, TX : $155,100 to $209,900
Bellevue, WA: $177,500 to $240,100
Base Pay Range: $136,600 - $246,300
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
