Manager, Software Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will lead a high-functioning team, providing growth opportunities, and forming strategies to maximize impact. You will also communicate with adjacent teams to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience
• 2+ years of management experience
• Strong grasp of the fundamentals of software engineering
• Excellent interpersonal skills in both written and verbal media

Bonus Qualifications

• Prior experience with Typescript and/or Python
• Prior experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Prior experience with software in a hardware domain, such as embedded devices, mobile apps, IoT, and/or infotainment systems
• Comfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable pace
• Enthusiasm for boating and the water

Qualifications
