Manager, Software Engineering- Enhancements/ Account Maintenance (MANTL)

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams while constantly setting and communicating team priorities that support the broader organization's goals
• Set clear expectations with individuals based on their level and role and aligned to the broader organization's goals
• Meet regularly with individuals to discuss performance and development and provide feedback and coaching
• Develop the mid-term technical vision and roadmap within the scope of your team(s)
• Evolve the technical roadmap to meet anticipated future requirements and infrastructure needs
• Design, guide and vet systems designs within the scope of the broader area, and write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
• Constantly review infrastructure metrics, SLA’s, quality metrics to ensure the right technical investments in the platform and its capabilities to meet current and future goals while optimizing costs
• Work with Product Management to collaborate through creative brainstorming sessions and assist in writing requirements for technical debt

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a technology leadership role, with a proven track record of building and leading a high-performing team
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with hands-on coding
• Strong background in object oriented programming such as React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python
• Strong experience building Systems and API development
• Strong experience working with eventing technologies such as Kafka
• Strong experience with Databases such as Postgres
• Passion to high-performance and high-throughput design
• Demonstrated improved growth and leadership of successful teams over time
• Successful in managing multiple concurrent work streams

Pay

The salary range for this position is: $168,000-$210,000
