Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Social Media Producers through regular 1:1s, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Own the creative standard across all short-form output, from concept to final delivery
  • Manage capacity across a high volume of concurrent projects and competing deadlines
  • Serve as the day-to-day creative point of contact for internal teams
  • Direct and shoot content yourself, particularly on higher-stakes or more complex projects
  • Own the gear inventory, studio and set spaces, and related budgets
  • Build and improve team systems including brief templates, pre-production workflows, and file management

Requirements

  • Expert-level knowledge of producing UGC-style social video for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Deep understanding of what stops a scroll, converts viewers, and reads as authentic versus an ad—with the ability to teach these concepts effectively
  • Experience managing creative people directly or leading shoots with junior crew
  • Ability to give sharp creative feedback that improves work without stifling individual voice
  • Proficiency with camera, lighting, and audio gear, including troubleshooting on the fly
  • Understanding of timing, crew, and gear requirements for small-scale shoots
  • Comfort owning a shoot from setup to wrap with or without additional crew
  • Experience shooting on devices ranging from iPhones to professional cameras like the FX9
  • Ability to direct talent to achieve natural, unpolished performances
  • Professional communication skills with contractors, clients, and talent
  • Passion for video games, including mobile games
  • Experience with tools like Notion, Slack, and Google Workspace

Nice to have

  • Experience working with paid media or performance marketing teams
  • Editing experience in Premiere or After Effects
  • Comfort appearing on camera
  • Sketching or storyboarding skills
  • Photography experience

Benefits

  • Medical, vision, and dental benefits
  • Matching 401k plan
  • Generous PTO, sick days, and holiday policies
