Manager, Social & Influencer Marketing

About the role

MKTG Sports + Entertainment is seeking a Manager for its Content team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a similar agency setting, with a strong background in sports and a pulse on the latest trends and influencers.

Responsibilities

• Support team across content workstreams – from deck writing, concept ideation, briefing to campaign management, copywriting and reporting
• Recommend effective talent for influencer partnerships and develop content ideas that support influencer strategies
• Work with team to manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met across social and influencer programs
• Analyze social data and turn it into actionable insights as a key lead of our owned and influencer social reports
• Partner with our sponsorship / consulting team to guide integrated social strategy and develop best practices
• Inspire and drive innovative new social media approaches informed by current and emerging platforms / trends
• Maintain strong awareness of the sports and marketing industry

Requirements

• Social media savvy, with a pulse on what’s trending across the social, creator, and sports ecosystem
• Engrained in culture and sports landscape, keeping a pulse on news, trends, and key milestones
• Experience identifying creators and influencers for brand partnerships
• Experience building social media strategies and ideating social concepts
• Proactive with the ability to manage projects independently
• Collaborative mindset with experience leading and contributing to brainstorming sessions
• Comfortable interfacing with clients and working with cross-functional teams, including creative and production
• Ability to understand social analytics and turn data into actionable insights
• Strong project-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• Detail-oriented and organized

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar, agency experience preferred

Additional Information

The annual base salary range for this position is $72,000 - $75,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Benefits available with this position include medical, vision, and dental insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, at least 15 paid holidays per year, paid sick and safe leave, and paid parental leave.
