Role
The Manager, Shopper Insights is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of shopper behavior and analytics, category development, and customer strategy. This role is ideal for someone with solid expertise in shopper insights and category management who can think strategically and innovatively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shopper insights responsibility for Skin Health & Beauty segment
- Develop strategic, actionable shopper insights that influence category strategies and drive growth
- Champion a shopper-first mindset across the organization, driving cross-functional alignment and action based on insights
- Develop seamless, holistic shopper understanding across physical and digital touchpoints
- Translate complex shopper data and analytics into compelling narratives
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative research elements to inform assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies
- Embed foundational shopper understanding throughout the Customer Development Organization and Sales teams
- Translate shopper insights and analytics into tangible strategy recommendations to influence key retailers
- Identify learning needs and introduce and implement innovative insight tools and methodologies
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shopper insights, market research, category management or related field
- Proven track record of successfully leading shopper insights for mega category in a multinational company
- A deep understanding of consumer and shopper psychology and behavior
- Strong working experience with US retailers and landscape
- Experience in omnichannel shopper journeys and, specifically, ecommerce shopper understanding
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including deep understanding of panel metrics, market structure, path to purchase, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights
- Experience in Self/Personal Care and/or Skin Health & Beauty is preferred
Pay
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges: $124,100.00 - $175,200.00
